THE PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN
We
stayed in one of the places where Pirates of the Caribbean was filmed,
Wallilaboo Bay. Ashore it was like going in a time warp into an old ships port.
There were wooden walls which looked like stone (the slight give away of them
being made of plywood was they were mouldy and shuddered when you touched them),
sadly most the set was falling apart and rotting, we all went ashore and walked
down the fake cobbled street, there were barrels, carts, a black smith and lots
of houses,
I
was cursed because I stood in a coffin. We went in to the room where the new
navy Trev in the second movie told Will Turner to get the compass of Jack
Sparrow (caption!). We also sailed pass the stone arch where, in the first
film, the pirate skeletons were hanging, accompanied by a sign
‘Ye be warned Pirates!’
